Delta Issues |
|
For a detail chart of issues, from a Delta
perspective, go to Issues The links below provide a
researcher's summary of some of the main issues regarding the latest
effort to REvise the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta region. Since
there are literally millions of research pages regarding the issues, we
try to direct the reader to the best summaries or maps for quick review
and understanding of the issues, not based on what the media wants you to
know but based on historical FACTS. The Delta Region is a huge,
complicated water and utility hub that DOES need to be revised and issues
resolved based on FACTS, not fabricated data designed to lead the reader
to a specific conclusion.
The buzz word for the 21st Century is
"Sustainability" and certainly the media has been applying that word as
the measure by which to validate the governmental taking of Delta private
lands to hand over to other private interests. Please take the time
to look at all the issues and form your own opinion based on facts, to
determine what is or is not "sustainable", and what might be the best
option for California overall.
We suggest you click on the map to
see an enlarged version, or print out the Delta's Future map to use as
reference for the locations of the Delta Islands which are the target of
topics as listed. For a general video about the Delta, go to
http://youtube.com and type in
"Sacramento Delta 101" or click on the "Don't Drain the Delta"
photo to the left above. |
