COMPUTER MODELING THE
DELTA
Computers have been used to "model" everything about the Delta, from
water flow to salinity to tracking particles to guessing where fish
might swim to fantasizing about how much water the SoCal and East Bay
Developers can squeeze out of the Sacramento River system in the name of
"restoration". There are so many different computer models being
used, and different versions of the models, that its not clear if any
are really valid predictors of impacts to the Delta! This series
provides the graphics and links (on the graphics) to the different
computer modeling systems used for current Delta planning. CALSIM
is just one of them.... |
